Friesenheim is a municipality situated at the edge of the floodplain of the Rhine rising up towards the foothills of the Black Forest. The building is situated in a general residential area in Friesenheim to the north of the main access road a location that is central, but also green and quiet.

Senior Residence Friesenheim is an object that was newly constructed in 2004. The central part of the 3-wing, 3-storey structure has a basement level. The 10 rooms of the dementia section are located in the west wing of the ground floor. Accommodated on the ground floor of the east wing are the premises of the administration services and a fully equipped kitchen designed to cater for up to 140 persons. The care facility offers its residents every comfort: an attractive foyer with reception area, cosy common rooms on each floor, an in-house restaurant, communal terraces and lovely gardens. There is even a hairdresser in the house. 

The living facility comprises a total of 95 apartments and suites of various sizes and comfort levels, with an integrated full in-house dementia care area and 17 parking spaces.
