AGO's senior residences offer living facilities as well as nursing and care services specifically aimed to provide safe conditions for a satisfied life in old age, taking into account the changes associated with moving from an accustomed living environment to a new, assisted-living environment. This may be for a limited period of time in the context of short-term care or for a long-term stay. Communication and communal activities are key elements of an individual living style in combination with full-time supervision.

The AGO Senior Centre is located in the centre of the regional capital Dresden, in a district called Löbtau situated to the west of the old part of the city. A quiet side street leads to the grounds, which are surrounded by listed buildings opposite the Friedenskirche. The Kesselsdorferstraße is within walking distance, with shops for most everyday needs, cafés and good connections to local public transport facilities.

The object currently leased by GO Betriebsgesellschaft für Sozialeinrichtungen mbH is an attractive 5-storey longitudinal building completed in September 2010. The solid brick construction comprises 6 storeys proper including a full basement level, except for the 1-storey extension at the rear of the building, which has no cellar.
